Hello Everyone My file was sent to BCBS on Oct. 13. I am hoping and praying for a fast turn around. Everyone please pray for me that I get approval real soon. l would like to wish those of you at this stage of the journey good luck and fast approval as well. Thank you. Spice

Hi Spice, Glad to hear your info has been submitted. I have BCBS too.Call them at least once a week to check on the status. That way they will know you are keeping up wuth what is going on. Hugs, Debra

Debra Thanks for the advice. I plan on calling them next wednesday which will be exactly 1 week from submission if I can make myself wait that long. Have you been approved yet or had surgery? If so how long did it take to get your approval? I am so anxious. I can't wait to hear back from them. I will probably be calling more than once a week, no once a week should be enough I don't want to aggrevate these people. Spice

Hi, I had my surgery on July 6th of this year. I couldn't believe it but I was accepted the same day my papers were turned in. Of course, I had a neurosurgeon, and Orthopedic surgeon and my family doctor faxing them telling them I had to have it or wouldn't make it. Wasn't in too good of a shape at the time. I am doing great now though. My doc said mine made history in one day. I thank God for that. Hang in there, you will get your approval soon. Praying for it. Hugs, Debra

Hang in there the waiting is rough but I called BC/BS everyday because it made me feel like I was doing something. Like that way the couldn't forget me. Hugs and prayers, Theresa
