Finally things are moving along!
I just had to post this. I don't know if anyone remembers a few of my posts last week about things not showing up at Emory Bariatrics that I know were faxed. Well, yesterday I got a call from Emory Bariatrics and they told me that they had all my information except for my medical necessity letter. Well, this comes after I made a call to Carol Perez, she's Dr. Khaitan's assistant. Well, that got things rolling. So, now they have everything and are in the process of getting my apporval. I know I can expect to wait for a long time. But it's my understanding that medicaid usually approves these surgeries pretty quickly. So, I'm thinking that if it takes more than a month then I can attribute this to the Bariactrics department again. I know these ladies have a lot of things they do each day, but it just seems to me there could be a better way of getting them done. Ok, I will stop now. Just wanted to let those that replied back to my other posts how things are. I am really excited. I'm a very impatient person, and this waiting is getting to me. Pray for me and you all will be in my prayers!! HUGGSS!!!! Take care!!!!!
