Whew.....

Well, I had my psyc exam today and I am mentally exhausted. I love Dr. Santavicca, but it was hard facing all of those "skeletons". He is giving me the OK to go ahead so now I have to find a dietician. I made an appointment with one person but that is not until Nov 3rd. I don't want to wait that long....any suggestions of someone FAST? My PCP got my labs back on Friday and has not looked at them yet SO I am waiting. His nurse said to call her back tomorrow and she would let me know. I am SO ready to get all of this together and over to Dr. Burrowes so he can submit it. I was thinking of including a letter written by ME with the submission. Did anyone else do that? Did it help? What else can I submit that will help with the approval? I had my consultation with Dr. Burrowes last Thursday and even though it scared the crap out of me I know that I HAVE to do this. He was great and I loved his office staff. I looked at all the "before and afters" and was in tears.....I can't wait to have my picture in that book!!! I think that is the first Doctor I have been to in a VERY long time that I actually felt totally comfortable with. Sorry I missed Saturday Night...had some issues going on at home but I will be at the next one for sure!! Anyway...that's my update for now. More to come, I hope!! P.S. Hi, Shree, Glad everything went well today! Maybe Dr. Burrowes' office can recommend another dietician who will see you earlier. We missed you Saturday night but know about those home issues. Hugs, Becky

He gave me a list, but all of them are so freaking busy *lol*. Don't they understand that they are supposed to drop everything just for me?!?!?!? (being sarcastic). I am going to do some calling around today and see what I can do. Shree

I've continued to read..lol...and noticed the mention of Sat. night? Is this a meeting of a Ga. group? or just coincidentally friends that congregate. I wasn't sure if you were referring to a support group...or just a bunch of crazy WLS folks gettin' together. I'd like to participate if that's the case. Just the girls? husbands as well? Let me know. I'm trying to develop a group of buddies I can hang with when I need support, ya know? Thanks again..and I gotta get back to WORK!

Joyce well it is kinda support but really it ends up being a bunch or crazy WLS folks getting together ...and yes husbands are welcome and so are kids ....it is a free for all .....So pelase come to the next one they are toms of fun we try to do one a month at least .... Laura
