How long should I wait?????????????

I mailed my paperwork in to Dr. Duncan's office on 9/30/04. I called to make sure they got my information and was told they would be calling me Friday. Well....they didn't. Now I am anxious. I called back today and left a message for them to call me. I figure they will grease the squeeky wheel, ya know? Anyway...how long should I wait before I hear something from them> This is just for the consultation date. Let me hear from anyone who has dealt with Dr. Duncan's office. Thanks you guys!

i think they said to wait two weeks but i think i waited a week thinking they got it by now and started to call and set things up i have no pacients at all LOL LOL Laura

I think I gave them a week too before I starting calling. My consult date was then set up for June 3rd, my surgery was 8/25/04 course I did a lot of the things I could like had my appointments for Nutritionist and Psy eval. and had my letter of recommendation from my PCP. I had my surgery done by Dr. Duncan. You should call, it doesnt upset his office for you to call to check on things, they are very nice about it. They usually try to stick to deadline dates that they give a patient, but sometimes they get behind during the day and miss the target!!..Give them a call and let them know that you were told you would receive a call and you didnt..they will check it out for you... Tina, as a Peachtree Bariatrics patient, I would call again tomorrow. I made the mistake of calling one time and saying "Call me if there's any problems." How brilliant am I? I had left the message on the machine of someone out on maternity leave. I wish I had been more persistent. They were always nice to me at Dr. Duncan's office! Hugs, Becky

Hi Tina I would keep calling,I did wait my 2 weeks and then I started calling,and left 4 messages before I finally got to talk to someone,I mailed my packet off on 9-3 and I have a consult date october 18th,so keep on calling..talk to Yakemia....huggsss Amy Good Luck on your journey!!!
