URGENT HELP NEEDED in Atlanta for Marrilee M
Hi Kay,
How are you tonight? I hope you had a good day.
I'm better every day, I might be another week or so before I feel well enough to manage totally by myself.
I wasn't having troubles per se before I just weighed 350# at only 5'2" and had to use a walker to get a round. I think that because I had such a large abdomen which was technically split in half then sewed and stapled back together with a G-tube and Davol drain is what is the bestest problem.
I'm seeing the surgeon tomorrow and am hoping that he'll remove the Davol drain. It's more of a bother than it's worth now.
Better every day (oh, please, please, please),
Marrilee

I'm glad things were better today. I work weird hours...M&T, I work 8-5, W&TH, I work 12-9pm and Friday I usually get off at 12 and then Saturday 8-12. If I didn't have to be in at 12 I would be more than happy to drive you. If you need anything on my off hours please don't hesitate to call. If my schedule changes before Thursday I will let you know. Have you thought about seeing if a Medical Transport Van would be covered by your insurance. I know in Athens they have those that will come pick you up and take you to your doctor's appointments if you are unable to drive. Just a thought.
Are you going to be home on Sunday? I would like to come up there and visit for a minute and help you out. Maybe do some cleaning and whatever else you need done. Do you have a washer/dryer at your house? If not, I would be more than happy to come pick up your dirtys and bring them back clean. Let me know.
Shree
Hey Shree, I could feel your hug from here. Thanks so much for the consideration and offer.
Sure, I'm going to be home Sunday, not like I'm going rock climbing any time soon. *L* I'd love for you to come visit. Yes, I do have a washer/dryer here in my apartment. Maybe there will be some dirtys. I'm sure (evil grin) that we can find something that I need help with.
I put the post out again today to see if someone was available to drive. If nothing shows up by noon tomorrow I'll call one of the medical transport services.
