Home from surgery

Hi all Just wanted to say that I got home (Valdosta) Sat., had surgery on Tuesday in Atlanta. So far all is well. The first 2 days weren't so great, even tho no throw up, just naseau really bad from anesth., so I had to stay an extra night in hospital. But that was okay, longer to heal....Thanks to everyone on these boards for all their advice that was given and keep up the great work. Tomorrow will be 1 week out and I don't think I have lost anything, I feel like I am very swollen. I have decided not to weigh until I go for the 3 week check up and see what happens then. Hi Kathy; Welcome home! Glad to hear that you are doing better now. I gained weight after surgery....and I thought "what the heck is this?" Your probably better off waiting until you 3 weeks before you weigh. It WILL come off! Good luck. Patsy

Kathy, I put on a bunch of weight from fluids after surgery but when I went to 2 week post op visit with the surgeon I was surprised how much I had lost in those 2 weeks. Every day you will feel a little better and things will get a little easier. Best wishes to you and yours, Theresa
