My husband as some of you know left me on 9-25-04. I found out a few days later that he left Ga and went back to Texas. Come to find out he d been cheating on me with a woman that he met on the computer from Texas and thats why he went back! I am having my good and bad days! Just since the 25th I ve lost apx 30#s! So that s the good thing! Please say some prayers for me and let the Lord guide us thru! I appreciate all of your support! Take care! Kerri

I know what you're going through except mine left me before my surgery which I still have not had yet. It's been 2 1/2 years for me, believe me things will get better. I still have my bad days but they are alot farther apart now. Hold that head up high and have a good day.

Prayers to you, Kerri! I think it is awesome that you are looking for the good! Yeah for your 30 pounds! I know your heart is aching though. It is my prayer that our Abba (the Lord as Daddy) comfort you during this time. I have a feeling you may have lost more excess weight in the form of your stinky husband. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) Hugs, Becky

Kerri, I am sorry for your pain. You have my prayers, and my support. Not to minimize your pain, but I was wondering about your total weight loss so far, where are you at? It sounds to me that you are doing really well! I read in your profile that you are a nurse, but that you had to stop working. Are you able to go back to work at this time? Sometimes I think that staying busy keeps us from dwelling on all of the rotten stuff in our lives. You are such a pretty girl from what I can tell from your posted pictures, that your husband is going to be regretting very soon the foolish choices that he has made. Take Care, Cathy Martin

Kerri I know you must be truly hurting. I will tell you I have been there done that. Just remember when one door closes, God opens another one for you. You are doing great with your weight loss. At some point in the future your husband will regret this move he has made. You will find someone that is deserving of the fanstatic young woman that you are. Carolyn

Kerri, I am so sorry to hear of your divorce. Please just remember this... the fact that your husband was void of good sense, does NOT make you any LESS of a person!! You are a beautiful person, and are becoming more and more beautiful on the outside as each day passes. It may not seem so now, but one day you may look back at this and realize it was better in the long run... I wish peace for your heart and head. Take Care. -Tami

Tami, That is such sage advice. I wish someone would have told that to me 4 yrs ago. I felt like I was not a good person. Not worthy of my ex's love b/c I was fat. Kerri, it's true. This does not make you any less of a person or any less lovable. You deserve better than someone that would cheat on you. I wish you well gal! Hugs, Tonya
