Neato idea!

My husband thought of the best idea and I thought I would share it. He said since most of us have trouble eating a full meal and some restaurants charge large group gratuities, maybe we should see if we could find a church where we could have a pot luck Christmas bash and that way we could bring all of our spouses. Just food for thought. I know it will be hard around the holidays and maybe we can skip the one in November because of Thanksgiving and just have a big bash for Christmas and then we could do a give exchange or something for the secret pals. Just something fun. I am sticking my neck out, so please let me know your ideas. And yes, my hubby gets all the credit for this one.

I have the PERFECT PLACE My mom is with the VFW (she runs it) in Forest Park. They have a bingo hall that we could use, and a kitchen. The chjarge to rent it would be minimal, if anything, and we could be ourselves and not shame a church! lol And, they have drinks. It would have to be saturday night, as they have bingo during the day.

And I think maybe if we hold the november meeting early like this month, we could still do it in december, and do secret santas.
