Hi everyone, I would like to have as much shopping done as possible. Can anyone give me some ideas? Not only for food, but what I will be needing to take to the hospital. My husband is disabled, so I need to be as ready as possible! Thanks all! Hugs, Kathy

Hey Kathy, I have a list of foods on my profile. As for the hospital, here are a few things you may want to consider. A small fan (AMC was freezing but I hear some people need them) A backscratcher CHAPSTICK (a must!) Slippers Underclothes Any special toilettres you can't do without.(face lotion, toothpaste, etc, etc) Pillow- I took mine and it came in handy especially on the ride home. Cellphone or phone cards for any long distance calls you may need. A list of phone numbers for people that you may want your husband to call after surgery. You won't need many things. The less things you take the better. HUgs, Tonya

Kathy: For the hospital, I suggest: vaseline lip therapy, a small fan, loose gown or pajamas, slippers, robe, usual toiletries and reading material. For food at home: sugar free popsicles, broth, jello, sugar free pudding, soups (put through blender) and protein powder. Also you can go to Dame Tooter's profile and get a lot of ideas. Hope this helps. When and where are you having your surgery. Carolyn

Okay, I think I missed something here. Did you finally get a surgery date? If you need any help just yell. I am less than 30 minutes away from you. Hugs, Debra
