thanks Amy , actually the article says my surgery date was the 4th ,, but it is actually going to be the 12th ( next tuesday ) . You have done great , and have been such an inspiration , thanks for posting . Travis

Travis, My name is Cathy Martin, and I had Gastric Bypass in October of 2002. I just joined this board several weeks ago, and have found that these are a great bunch of people. What a great article about you, it seems that you have a good amount of support. Good luck on your upcoming surgery, It seems that you have gone through alot to get to this point, and I can tell you from my own expierence that it's all worth it!! Take Care, Cathy Martin

Great Article, Travis. My surgery is Wednesday (the 13th) at AMC. I hope we get a chance to say hello! I understand your comment about wanting to kill more deer. My obession is to get back on a horse - and to get on w/out her grunting at my weight. I do want to be healthier but I yearn to do those things I used to do! Good luck in your journey! Robin

Travis, That' pretty confusing because your date say's July 13 under your name, the artlce says Oct 4th, lol! You should come to our meeting in Duluth! We'd love to meet you. My husband's going to be there Amy
