I was wondering if anyone had any local suggestions for chewable calcium citrate and sublingual B-12. So far, I've only found chewable calcium carbonate and that won't work.

I have been taking sublingual B-12 for the past year. You can find it in 500 or 1000 mg, and I usually buy mine at GNC Or Vitamin World. As far as a chewable form of Calcium, my nutrionist recommended Viactiv chews. Hope this helps... Cathy Martin

Thanks! I'll check them out next. Unfortunately, the Viactiv is calcium carbonate and not calcium citrate. My understanding is that post op we need the citrate.

This is the calcuim that I use but lord I did not pay that much for them I think I paid $14.99 from vitaminshopp in Ny. Only thing you have to take 4 of them to equal your required amount.

Thanks! I went ahead and ordered both. I'll try to do some comparison shopping later, but I wanted to have everything in hand soon.

I use Citrical calcium & a liquid sublingual from Wal-mart. I just use the reg. calcium pills and then chew them up. Two in the morning and two in the evening. Yes, they are chalking but it's tolerable and very inexpenisve. Tonya
