Athens, ga... support groups? PCP's?

I just moved to Athens and need to find a PCP who is experienced with WLS patients. Also, if there is a local support group I would like to find out. Anyone in the Athens area?

HI, I am not sure about which doctor since there are so many but there are a bungh of people in Athens and near by who should get together and have a support group. I would be willing to go to it. I grew up in Athens (GO DAWGS) *lol* Anyway, if you can use Carlos Cassio on Baxter....he is WONDERFUL and very in favor of the surgery. He comes with my highest recommedation!!! Good Luck. Shree

There is a support group at Walton Regional Medical Center. Meets every 3rd Tues at 7PM. We meet in the cafeteria, which is on the bottom floor. Our next meeting is November 16th. We would love to have everyone there.
