You were actually told those exact words???? If so, that sounds like discrimination to me. Not sure what recourse you could take in this situation, hopefuly there is something that can be done. Sorry you got this treatment. James Lamb

Those words exactly (Over the phone)! Other than the fact from my observation no one looked larger than a size 5, I couldn't prove it.

That's a crying shame, in my opinion. Oh well,once you have your surgery, that type of thing should never happen again. Then, you'll be too good for their company!!! James

Sounds like you just weren't a fit. It could mean that you were overqualified for the job. I doubt it your weight was the deciding factor. It is a very distressed economy right now and several people are overqualified for jobs in the market.
