Humiliated!!!!

Ok I went for my appts yesterday my nutrist and pysc,the nutrist went great Jackie Oleski was great,I went to my pysc and it wasnt all that great,I felt so humilated and now I dont even know if I will pass the stupid eval. for another 2 or 3 weeks I am going to drive myself crazier than what I am now by then,my psyc dr was Ross grumet anybody else ever been to him and can you tell me how it went for you......Amy

I wonder why he didn't tell you while you were there. Try calling tomorrow and tell them it will drive you nuts if they don't. Why are they making you wait two weeks? That bites. Wish I could help. Some of these people who do the evaluations are nutty themselves. If you need anything just call. Hugs, Debra

Hi Amy I went to Dr. Grumet too. The whole thing was weird because I had never ben to a pysc before. He made me feel uncomfortable and I started crying when I talk about being fat and how it affects my family life. He wrote alot of things down I don't even remember talking about but I must have said them because he had info about me growing up. He did give me a clearance but it took a couple of weeks. I'm sure all will be fine and you will be approved for your surgery soon. Try not to worry. Good luck. Patsy ps i used Jackie Oleski too and BC/BS paid for them both.

Amy, I went to dr. Gromet... he was very nice and his office was helpfull also... he told me that day that I would get his go on it and his office faxed it to me within 2 days.... I was told that he would let me know his decison that day and he did.... of course I did ASK him to tell me before I left too I had a long 8 months and I was so ready to be done.... I did have a bad expeirence with a phyc. here in columbus that was a night mare and almost ended the chance for me right there.. thank god it didnt..... good luck to you , keep us informed and call that office in a few days and talk to them.....
