Weight Loss in Brain?
Okay, Dumb question, I know, but...Have any of you been more absent-minded since surgery? I even called my parapro by my own name today!!! Who in the world am I??? I am making about three or four mental errors each day. I am very tired. I go to bed at about 9:00 every night. I take three Flintstones (Complete) vitamins each morning and have been taking B-12 every day. I have been forgetting my Calium Citrate, but hope to do better. I am thinking I may need to go to the doctor for B-12 shots. Are they more effective for any of you? I may also have to splurge for better vitamins. Is there anyone who has found a great vitamin regiment that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Since I only have half a brain left, I might be willing to pay that!
Hugs,
Becky
It seems it was much worse in the beginning and seems to be getting better here lately. I attribute it to comsuming more calories and a wider varitey of foods. I drink one protein shake a day in addition to my food intake. I believe it really helps. Also carbs are important for brain function so make sure you are consuming an adequate amount.

Don't we have to have a brain before it can function? I lost mine a long time ago due to brain clouds! I am in a constant fog all the time. I take the Optisource Vitamin that has all the things needed after bariatric surgery. Made especially for that. Only about $26 a month for 120 of them. Just four a day and that's it. I love them. Like oranges. Well, fog is rolling back in so yell if you need anything. I have the site for those vitamins if you want it.

Unfortuantly, I killed too many brain cells when I was real young and stupid. Now I have to keep a calendar to stay on track! I am chewing the vista vitamins and haven't noticed a difference in having mental errors. My energy level gets better everyday and I feel good. Cannot say if that is from getting rid of some of this load I have been carrying for so long or from the vitamins....Hugs and prayers, Theresa
