I have not heard definitely... there have been rumors. The best thing to do would be to check with your employer's BCBS representative. Various plans differ from one company to the other. Connie is a DOLL and you will love her. Just tell her what's going on and your concerns. They will do everything they can to help. Connie will give you a list of tests to be completed for the insurance company. Make sure you get your appointments made and completed as quickly as possible. Also, make sure you get your list of previous diets together. Put EVERYTHING on it you can remember ever trying... like cabbage soup diets, Jenny Craigs, Richard Simmons Deal A Meal, ANYTHING!!! My best suggestion is as soon as you get that list of tests you need, to go ahead and start making appointments. Keep in mind, if you need things like a pulmonary function test, you have to get your pcp to refer you to a pulmonologist, then the pulmonologist will schedule for the test, then you come back to the pulmonologist, who then writes a report to send to your pcp, in order for him/her to write your clearance letter... So as you can see, there is no time to dawdle... BEST OF LUCK!! I liked Obesity Solutions... Let me know if I can be of any assistance!! -Tami
