IT'S OFFICIAL!!! OCTOBER 9th.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! There has been an overwhelming response stating that October 9th is a good day for everyone. I'll get opinions on the venue in the coming days. Also, think about this thought... (And BE HONEST) if you don't like the idea...no feelings will be hurt.... What about a secret pal for the group? Remember Amy mentioning in her MTV piece about her secret pal and how it meant so much to her? If you are interested, we could all put our names and addresses in a bowl at the next meeting and draw. If you wanted to be a part of the secret pal, but could not attend, you could send me your name & address via email, and we will throw you in the hat, and then if you are not there, I can draw names for the non-attendees and email them who their secret pal would be. The rules would have to be NOTHING expensive!! You don't have to spend a lot of money to do something thoughtful!! The other would be..if you are going to commit to being a secret pal, you have to commit. No saying yes, then not sending anything to your secret pal after the first couple of times. That's not fair to your recipient. Just a thought.....let me hear what you think. There will be no flaming if you are not interested, you can just say no thanks. If it is not something we want to do, no biggie...nothing lost. You all have a FABULOUS day!! I saw a quote today that I really liked. I want a PAL ...I want a PAL ...count me in on all counts here ....I am still upset i had to miss this weeks but something came up and i thought i might get home in time but didn't =( i was so sad ...So i am game for a secret pal and for oct 9 ...wooohoooo Laura

I think the secret pal would be cool. I might stay home however the carpool duties and being just Mom is sometimes overwhelming. So sending cards and a little encouragement is such a small price to pay when you will get 100 fold back when you get yours!!! lynn

NOW THAT IS A DATE I DON'T THINK I CAN ATTEND IF WE GO ON OUR TRIP TO FORT WALTON AS PLANNED. AS OF TODAY WE ARE TALKING ABOUT CANCELING THE TRIP DUE TO THE DAMAGE DOWN THERE. IT WAS VERY NICE SEEING EACH AND EVERYONE OF ALL AND I ALSO HEARD SOME BAD NEWS TODAY ABOUT ATENA INSURANCE, THAT IS FL ONLY SO FAR, AS OF JANUARY 1ST THEY DON'T PLAN TO HONOR THIS WLS. LIKE I SAID IT IS FOR FL ONLY SO FAR BUT THE AGENT IS LOOKING INTO IT FOR ME FOR GA. I PRAY I GET APPROVED BEFORE THE YEAR IS OUT. I can't wait!! I had such a great time!! I have to tell you that James and I detoured to Buckhead afterward and danced the night away at Bell Bottoms! I wish you all could have come. We'll have to get together and all go dancing soon! I haven't had that much fun in like eons!! Tonya
