Saturday was my 1 month anniversary. I got up that morning and weighed... 30 lbs gone forever!!! I lost 20lbs before surgery so total of 50lbs since July ! We then traveled to North Atlanta for some shopping. Two months ago while in TN, I could not walk through the mall without having to stop to rest. Saturday I walked the Mall of Georgia completely (2 stories) twice!!! Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit a dear friend (with cancer) who has not seen me since end of June. She was shocked at how I looked already. My face is no longer puffy, my clothes are fitting looser already, I have already had some rings and shoes fall off of me! I am so thankful I had this surgery! I am still not very interested in food. I prefer my shakes and I now mix my vitamins in them. I do eat food, but very little. I have found I love grilled catfish and a tiny taste of baked potato. The major challenge I continue to face is a dry mouth. I rarely drink anything other than water. I sip it alot and still my mouth is dry. If I eat a SF popsicle that seems to help. I LOVE crushed ICE!! YUM!!! Just an update on me.... Smiles! Tracy

Tracy, what a wonderful report! It continues to thrill me when I read of the impact this surgery can make on a person's life. Makes me even more determined to get there, myself. Congratulations, and keep on posting. Barb

I just reached my one month milestone as well. Its a wonderful feeling. I have a fear that I will not lose more, then I have to shake it off. Good Luck and keep up the good work Tracy! Denise
