5lbs gone since pre-op 8/30/04

OK, so it doesn't seem hopeless now. To update everyone, my surgery schduled for 9/8/04 is cancelled. My highest weight EVER (291). I had gained 12lbs since my last office visit, was informed that I should lose 15-20 to shrink my liver....I was devastated, I knew for sure this would be a 2/3 month setback. Nutritionist was NO HELP! I am on full liquid and feeling pretty good about losing...........thank everyone for their prayers...I still have a way to go, but I will get there. J.

You're gonna make it, girl. You are already 1/3 of the way there. I'm counting on you to lead the way for me with Dr. Scarborough. As long as you keep posting, I'll know what to expect, ahead of time! If you've made it through all the tests, etc., the finish line is in site. Keep at it, and keep on posting. Barb
