Evening update on Connie from her sister

Connie is recovering well, and everything seems to have gone well. Dr. Duncan and another doctor checked on her while I was there - my goodness they have some handsome doctors (hope she wasn't too groggy to notice). She has been eating her ice chips, and has no nausea. She was up and walking within 2 hours of being brought to her room. She has a little pain on her left side near one of the incisions, but had only used the "button" once. She was getting ready to have another dose when her son arrived, but decided to put it off until he left. All seems to be going well, and she expects to be released tomorrow.
