LAST MEAL!!??

NOW THAT I HAVE MY DATE AND PRESCRIPTIONS FOR THE DAY BEFORE SURGERY, WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD TIME OF DAY TO HAVE MY LAST BIG MEAL? I AM SUPPOSE TO START TAKING MEDS @ 4P. LET ME KNOW..OK

I know it's the standard answer and no one wants to hear it, but on this one I would definitely check with your surgeon. I know for me, I had to be on a liquid diet with very specific instructions for 48 hours before surgery. Not all surgeons do that, but there may be a certain time of the day that your surgeon wants you to stop eating...so better to be safe than sorry. My doc said if he opened me up and found solid food in my stomach, he would cancel the RNY cause he couldn't close around pork chops! Kelle
