UPDATE...Thanks for your support
You folks are so amazing. Thank you so much for your prayer. I would like to ask you to continue please.
I just came back from Atlanta Medical Center, where Nat is in ICU.
He was driving on Hwy 81 (Gwinnett County) and a lady cut out in front of him. He was trying to avoid her, clipped her, and his truck flipped several times. He was thrown from the vehicle.
His back is broken in 3 places, in the lumbar area, the area between the shoulder blades, and 2 vertabrae in his neck. All his ribs are broken, as well as his sternum and left arm. The rib*****tured his lung, which collapsed. He has cuts all over his face, and apparently he closed his eyes before he hit, because his eyelids are cut severely (fortunately, his eyes are ok) and he has stitches on both eyes. There is a large half moon cut on the back of his head that is stitches, as well as multiple cuts on his arms, torso and a severe gash to his leg.
He is in a drug induced coma and they are praying he will be able to walk once he comes through all this.
You guys, these two are two of the sweetest, Godliest people I have ever met in my life. My friend Charlene and I used to work together and even though we haven't worked together in over 7 years, I know if I were to pick up the phone and say "Please"...she and Nat would be there in the blink of an eye. She and I make an annual trek of going shopping every day after Thanksgiving together for about 11 years now.
I went in and saw Nat before I left, and I could hardly think straight. She is being such a rock. My heart is just broken for her. She loves that man so thoroughly.
I thank you all for your prayers, and I would so much appreciate your continued prayer. You know, to give you an idea how important you all are, as soon as I got off the phone today and KNEW we needed prayer and we needed NOW, I got straight on the board...and just as I expected, you all did not dissapoint.
It looks like we may be in for a long wait now, to see how things are progressing.

My husband wa**** head-on about 4 years ago with very similar injuries. He was in the coma for six weeks. Also he was in the hospital for months. But through alot of prayers, mental and physical work he is almost 100% today. God grace is a very wonderful thing. I will keep Nat and Charlene in my prayers.

Tami,
The wonders of medicine are incredible....the things they can do now is just freakin amazing....
We are going to lift up Nat to God and pray for his continued healing. We are gonna ask God to give Charlene continued strength through this ordeal.
What we want God to do is heal Nat the best he can with a whole mind and no pain. We want him to be alive and functional and if possible whole.
This is what we are asking in Jesus's name Amen
