Great News!!!

I attended Dr. Scarborough's seminar this evening, and he DOES take both Medicare and Medicaid. I am so happy I feel like I'm floating on air! I met several ladies on Medicaid, and we attended a support group, too. I am overwhelmed by the warmth and caring I sensed in the room, and realized how withdrawn I had become when around other people. Thanks to all of you who have given me encouragement when I was tempted to throw in the towel. I also nudged Dr. Scarborough about getting registered here. He admitted that he had the paperwork, but just hadn't followed through. Dee and Pam from his office were laughing and shaking their fingers at him, so I guess they had been nagging him, too. I stressed that I wouldn't have known about him without this Forum.

Yeah!! Barbara, when prayers go up, blessing come down. A lady in my support group had Dr. Scarborough for her surgeon, and she brags on him all the time. She is a year out, and is doing wonderful. She also has lost 122 pounds. Mrs~Jackson

Congratulations on getting this far. Best of luck in getting everything approved quickly. WLS is the best thing I've ever done for myself. I feel like a trapped animal that has been let loose to roam. I still have a lot of weight to lose but I am at least out of the trap and have regained my health.
