Dr. Hart would be a great choice. My surgery was 5/11/04. No complications at all. I have lost 65 pds and feeling great. Amanda will get your other needed doc appointments as close together as she can. And she will process the paperwork pronto! I am very happy with my choice of Surgeons!

I had my surgery 2/3/04 and am very happy that I went to Dr. Hart. He is a very skilled surgeon and very caring. Amanda is his baratric coordinator and knew exactly what the insurance company needed and in what form. They told me exactly what I was suppose to eat and at what time to introduce new foods. Dr. Hart is careful and sends you for tests so there are no surprises. During laproscopic RNY surgery, Dr. Hart also repaired my hiatal hernia. Dr. Hart put me on a diet because my weight was mostly around my middle and the surgical equipment is only so long. I weighed 350 when I first saw him. I had lost 10 lbs. before that. He wanted me to lose 50 lbs to preform the RNY laproscopically. I did and it was the best thing in the world. I was already ahead of the game. I have lost 148 lbs. and am very healthy. I had no complications. Dr. Hart is very skilled and caring. I traveled from Tifton to use him and it was the best thing I did. I would definitely send anyone to him. I wish you good luck in your search. Jean

I had my surgery with Dr. Hart on 7/13/04 and didn't have any problems. He had me lose some weight before surgery, but I was still around 367 on my surgery date. However, he was able to do my surgery lap anyway. Whoever you decide on, follow up with them when they send in stuff to the insurance, etc. The first time Amanda sent my stuff in, it didn't get to the right place and she had to resend it three weeks later. Once it was received, my approval was in about a week and a half. Good luck!! Ann in Duluth
