Financial Question

If you used Emory Dunwoody or Northside, did you have to pay your anticipated portion of the hospital charges/stay upfront?

I used Emory Dunwoody, and I've never heard of a hospital making one pay upfront... I did not. My surgeons out of pocket fee was 4600, 250 to his assistant and anesthesiologist.. and the hospital portion left over was 2500.. which I've yet to pay. I'm going to get them to work with me on it.

I used Emory Dunwoody and yes they informed me of my co-pay and made payment arrangements with me up front. The arrangements were very reasonable. For an anticipated 1560 copay, they are having me pay it out 100 dollars per month.
