WAITING ON INSURANCE APPROVAL

I am waiting on insurance approval for WLS. I would love to hear from others who are also waiting on approval. I hope we can support one another and make the time pass by quicker. Dr. Duncan's office sent everything to the insurance company on June 22. Now the insurance has wrote back requesting more information. They want a two year failed diet attempts and a two year record of my weight for the past two years. I gathered everything and faxed it myself to the insurance company today. Now the waiting begins.............again. PLease pray for the insurance company to approve my WLS.

Sheila, I know how you feel and the waiting seems to be the hardest thing you have to endure. I called BC/BS everyday for status, couldn't help myself, I was blessed to always speak with nice people though. I have said a prayer that you get your approval very soon. Hugs and prayers, Theresa

Sarah, I'm here for you gal! I know the waiting is hard. My insurance came back and asked for my weight for the last three years, once they received that info they made a decision quickly. I hope the same for you. What insurance is it? Prayers for you gal! Tonya
