I have to also have one of these done. Is it a simple blood test my PCP can do in the office? How soon do you have the results?

I had to get a 2nd clearance letter from my PCP (for B/C) and my PCP did the test that day. It was a simple blood test. Patsy

Do you have GERD? If you do then they will require you to have a EGD by the Gastroenterologist. The Gastro Dr said it was much more conclusive to do the test while doing the scope vs doign the blood as it can only test if you carry antibodies. Tonya
