I just tried some Propel Fitness Water and eeewwwww! Nasty! It is just s-o-o-o sweet! Maybe because I got the lemon? I have some grape in the fridge....is it better? For those of you who like this stuff (can't imagine)....it is on sale through Saturday at Kroger....buy one 6 pack - get one free! The bigger bottles, too. Patti

Well Patti, I know of no studies but in the other support group I type on the few people who drank Propel stopped loosing weight and couldn't figure out why. Well after seeing there docs figured out that it's a sport drink that is hmmm I think high in sodium causing alot of water weight gain. More of a drink for people trying to build muscle or gain weight. Good source for that. I am just typing off of recollection but that was enough to warn me not to drink it.

I loved Propel, but since surgery two weeks ago, I can't stand the taste of it. I am drinking alot of sugar free Koolaid and Crystal Light. I also like the Minute Maid Light Lemonade, I dilute it with water though. Nat, I remember reading that about the Propel also. It has 2 grams of sugar per serving and one bottle has 2 servings, so if you drink on it all day, you could easily be taking in too much sugar which could slow down weight loss. I have about 8 bottles left and I am not buying anymore!! I am trying to make DH drink what I have left!! Smooches Chandra Lap RNY 6/22/04 - 13 lbs

I never liked Propel - I don't understand why it tastes so sweet and has low carbs at the same time.

For a really good taste-free water with lots of good electrolytes in it try SMAR****ER. You can get it at Whole Foods and Publix but I don't know about Kroger. It's pricey, but since we can't eat anything anymore I find I am willing to spend more on protein drinks and water than I used to!!!

I cant drink Propel. It is WAY too sweet for me even if I cut it with water. YUCK!!! I used to drink Fruit2o but it taste like it has dirt in it to me now. I'll just have to stick with my bottled water with lemon or lime.

Patti, I haven't tried propel but I did try Fruit H2O and hated it. I found Le Nature's Ice water at Ingles. It has no sweeteners in it but has natural flavores in it. It comes in Lemon, Lemon-Lime and Grapefruit. I liked all three. Not priced to bad either. Cindy
