PLEASE HELP!!!!! HAVE AN IMPORTANT INSURANCE QUESTION????????

CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE ESTIMATED WAIT TIME FOR GA MEDICAID APPROVAL? I HAVE MY FIRST CONSULT TOMORROW AND JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS DO I NEED TO ASK WHEN I GO FOR MY FIRST CONSULT?

Natalie, Great ????'s I am in the same boat with the same Dr. My consultation wth Dr. Hixon isn't until Jul 20th, so I am interested to know as well. I do know that you have to have all the evals done and the PCP saying medically necessary for any ins to consider. I live really close to Macon, GA, where are you near. As we both are using the same Dr, it would be great to meet if we are near each other. lynn

The only thing I can say is, don't be in a hurry. I don't have medicade but, as with the wait time I am sure it is the same. I had my first appt. last year in June...but you know what? TIME FlYS! Your wait will not be that long prob. I had a year pre exsti. clause....good luck to ya and god bless!
