The Switch Process

I am considering switching Dr's --from Emory to Duncan or Hart? Has anyone out there switched? What's the process? How lon did it take? I NEED USEFUL INFORMATION PLEASE.

Hi, I was first approved with Dr. Hart. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance. Dr. Hart requested that I lose 50lbs before he would do surgery. I found Dr. Burrowes , made an appointment. On the first visit, I informed them that I was approved with a different Dr. I brought in my approval letter, and was changed in one week. Two weeks later, I had a surgery date. Thank God. I swiched dr's but wasnt very far in the process, i had some test run with first dr. and the results were sent to dr. duncan, i started this process with one dr... oct. 29, will have surgery july 6..... Just call the new dr. tell them you want to see them and what you have done so far and they will set you up.....
