yeah it was never passed in the senate

This was not passed, but it can be re-introduced for reconsideration. I would recommend we all contact our Georgia representatives and ask that they bring this Bill back to the floor for reconsideration.

I dont know about a law saying that insurance co's have to pay for it but it is true that in the state of GA insurance co's HAVE to offer customers the OPTION to buy coverage for weight loss surgery. Thats why someone with the same insurance, for example Cigna, can get it paid for but someone at a different job that has Cigna will not have it covered. I hope that made sense... Sidney
