Hi! I thought I had a nightmare! You have been going through a lot and you have been on top of everything. Lord only knows what would have happened if you were not. If you keep calling and bugging them maybe they will move your date up because they will get so tired of hearing from you! I am 49 years old and I am 5 weeks post op down 39 lbs. Do not give up on your dream! I wish you only the best.

Becky when I started reading your story I was expecting to read at the end that the insurance company rejected you. But they didn't. Your just in a rut for time. I know your feeling. I stayed with UHC to get the surgery and they told me they covered it and found out they didn't and had to wait a whole nother year to change to bcbs. Waiting can be sooooooo hectic. But you know what. The time will be here before you know it. It's July already can you believe it. Lets pull out the sparklers!! I also though I was not to have the surgery but had to think if I wasn't to do it why am I still waiting on paperwork. It's your time Becky. It will happen. Your paperwork is there and we are just gonna wait for a date. Who knows perhaps he will get a cancellation and ask to be on the cancellation list. I was moved up 3 weeks doing that. I also was at Emory with Smith and I know how they can be. So I feel for you and wish you all the luck!!! NAT

I've had everything done and was all set for surgery. when i just read you said oct/nov timeframe i couldn't believe it. I will start following up with emory again asap. please post your progress and feel free to email me with what's going on. Dee
