I'M BACK!
I missed y'all! My son and I had a nice time visiting with our family despite the fact that my G-ma is very ill. I visited with her everyday as much as I could but right now she just basically sleeps. Her energy level is so low b/c her body is fighting so hard to stay alive. Yesterday I went to say good-bye and we had a long talk. I know that was my final good-bye to her and it was the absolute hardest thing I've ever done.
But I'm glad the Lord spared her so that my son and I could have that time with her.
Anyway, just wanted to say and that I've missed y'all
Tonya
Hey Tonya:
Glad you are back. I lost my mother to Alzheimer's on May 8th (the day before mother's day). I wish I could have seen her one more time before she left us. She was in an Alzheimer's home in Springfield, Ohio and my older brother and his wife were with her when she passed. Even though she hasn't really been with us for several years, I just wanted to give her one last kiss. You are so fortunate that you had this time with your grandmother. It will be a something you will treasure in the coming years.

W E L C O M E B A C K ! ! ! I am glad that you got to spend time with your grandma before you have such massive changes in your life. The time spent is very important. My mother (age 70) is coming to visit us in July and my son and I are taking her to Disney Animal Kingdom. She lives far away and I do not know how many visits we will be able to have left. Now you can concentrate on your wls.
