I got my date!

I'll be having surgery on July 9th at Dekalb Medical Center. I got on the 1st for my preop testing. It's a little later than what I wanted, and I'm a little worried about the surgery being on Friday. Has anyone else had surgery on Friday, and what was your care like over the weekend? Thanks guys!

Hey Kelle! This is exciting!! I think having surgery on Friday will give you more company over the weekend which would be a good thing. Surely weekend nursing care is competent to the weekday care. I wouldn't be concerned about it. If you have problems, you can always ask for the supervisor. Take it easy these few weeks leading up to surgery. You're in for a treat of a lifetime! Good luck!
