1st Consult Scheduled

I spoke with BC/BS this morning armed with all the questions recommended here. I then called Dr. Hart's office and spoke with Amanda. I bet she's going to be a real help in this process. I have an appt. with their dietitian tomorrow morning. I also have my first appt. with Dr. Hart on July 1st (first available). I am so excited! I have a lot more research to do, but now I have a date. I emailed my PCP and asked her to send a Letter of Medical Clearance to Dr. Hart. Amanda said that's all they need from my PCP right now. I told Amanda about all my co-morbid conditions and prescriptions, so she's got that info. June will be a busy month. I have the dietitian tomorrow. I am going to a WLS seminar at North Fulton Hospital next week. I have a re-titration sleep study on June 16th. Before I know it, July 1st will be here! Thanks to everyone here for their knowledge and support. I've only been on this site for a couple of weeks, and it and the people here are already an integral part of my life.

Good luck Catherine, this is a wonderfull thing to do for yourself... Try not to get discourged with the twists and turns... It is a stressfull time, and hard to be patient.. but try not to let it get to you too much and take advantage of the support of this board... kiwani

Congratulations. You are now on the way to being a happy, healthier person. The hardest part about all of this for me so far is the waiting and trying to be patient. My first consult is Thursday.
