I WAS DENIED!!!!!!!

Shon, I am so sorry.....I know how you feel...I was denied by BCBS the first time around. I never had to file an official appeal because I was denied for paperwork reasons and once I got them everything they wanted (in triplicate) they acted right. But it did take me longer with them than it takes a lot of people. Please don't give up. I don't understand how they can say they you didn't fulfill the criteria because you have documented proof that you were on a supervised diet for 6 months straight....sounds fishy to me. Please wait till you talk to you surgeon before you let yourself get truly upset. Sounds like Aetna's doing to you what BCBS did to me....saying, we don't have proof, what proof? Oh....that proof....
