I'm aggrevated , what to do ??

Hi ya'll , I guess i got a question ,or maybe i'm just venting .Last wednesday i finally got a call from my surgeons office stating they had my ins. approval in there hand ( after i had verbally knew and told them that i had been approved for 11 days before then ) ,Anyway the nurse asked me when i wanted to have the surgery and which procedure i had choosen . I told her and she said she would call me back before the end of that day . Well 5 oclock got there and she hasn't called me , so i called her and she said for me to call her the next day an we would have a date ,, WELL, it is now tuesday night 5 buisness days later and i have called her twice everyday , once in the morning and once in the evening ,,,, AND still know surgery date ,, Trust me i am extremely nice , not rude at all ,, and each time she leads me to beleive we will know in a few hours , But still nothing . What should i do , i deal with the public alot everyday and i know being rude gets you know where ,but i have busted my hump going thru all these tests before schedule for a date and i guess i don't understand why it takes so long . Travis, I am sorry that you are having problems getting your date. I am not sure what you should do but if it was me I would keep calling and insisting that she let you know something. It has been almost a week and she still will not tell you anything? Is it to far for you to go to the office to see her? Hope it helps some, Alli D.

Sorry to hear this. I would continue to call everyday and even ask if someone else can help you. Maybe ask to speak to someone different. I really don't know what else beside stopping by but I know this not close by. Shondra

travis Man if i was you i would call until she could tell you something ...Even if it is "we will not know anything until next week" but i would nt stop calling until you had some answer . And didn't someone else on the board have the same Doc as you and got their day like last friday ?? THEY STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK WITH YOU? TRY CALLING AND SPEEKING WITH KATHERIEN INSTEAD OF MONICA. YOU ARE PROB. GOING TO GET THE RUNAROUND LIKE I DID ON WEN AND THURS ABOUT THEY DO NOT SCHDULE SURG. ON THOSE DAYS BUT I WOULD FRANKLY SAY ' I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY CASE." TELL THEM YOU JOB IS WAITING ON A RESPONCE FOR TIME OFF, YOUR FAMILY NEEDS TO KNOW TO SCHD. THEIR TIME OFF TOO. SAY I KNOW THAT YALL HAVE LOTS GOING ON THERE BUT I NEED TO KNOW THE STAT. I agree with Stacie, tell them that this in a little while has gone on so long and you have people that you have told that it will be within hours and youll know and your wondering what is taking so long when you were told 1 day. CVontinue to be nice, cause not being nice can get your surgery pushed back by paperwork being lost but repeat the things to her that she has told you, such as, she will know in a little while

Yes you have reason to vent...so here is what you do... CALL THEM EVERYDAY, A COUPLE TIMES A DAY IF NECESSARY UNTIL THEY CAN GIVE YOU A DATE!!!! Persistance pays off!! Brenda
