Some people amaze me!!!

Yesterday, I went to Curves with my daughter who is 7. She "worked out" with me and when we got done we were stretching.... There was a "skinny" lady working out and she said "OMG! I can not even do that!" (I was sitting with my legs spread apart and I was leaning down to the floor.) I just looked at her! Because I am fat, am I not suppose to be limber? I have tried diets after diets and I can not keep the weight off. I am having other problems due to the results of the weight but I just can not deal with rude people! What would you have said? I could not say a thing!

I probably would've said something like......"Well honey please don't try it! I wouldn't want you to snap that skinny little back of yours. But hey!...bet'cha real good at hula-hoop'n with a cheerio!" Like I said before....lots of mental midgets running around this world! tonya

Now granted I wasn't there, and I am the last person on earth to take up for some rude skinny minny, but maybe she meant it as a compliment. Maybe she was really amazed that someone (anyone) was the limber. I'm always in awe when I see an adult who is really flexible. I know when I was a kid I could have bent myself into a pretzel, but not now! I'm sure you know how she meant by her tone of voice. I could see where that would make you mad....SHE could have said, wow I wish I was that limber, or you go girl, but when she compared herself she would have put me gaurd. "I can't even do that" like she is the god almighty limber queen!!! DId we miss the seramoney???? when was she crowned? Shoot we missed it! I work in a hair salon.....I am the only fat girl there. THEY ARE BARBIE"S, long extenions blond no doubt....fake boobies, perfect butts, plumb lips....and they have all been married like 4 times and they are only like in their early 30's. THEY are all about looks. WHEN i told them I was getting the surg. they all called their doctors and got on diet pills (like I am not lieing) within 1 hour of it. JUST got to get that last 3 pounds off!! HAHA>>> One girl said you might even get as small as me!!! (after wls)whatever....if that includes the unstable life and no brain to thanxs....

I understand they may think it's a compliment but just like everything else, you are suppose to think before you open your mouth. If you can't... shut-up.
