How often????

Just wondering how often I should check with the insurance, they received my papers last Monday and I waited until Friday to call and check. Peggy told me that she had to send it to her supervisor because they haven't dealt with many of these cases. She said that her supervisor may send it to reveiw (whatever that means) and that she would call me if they needed any other information. I know the Dr.'s office will not contact them and that I need to, but how often should I call??? I don't want to keep bugging, I'm afraid they'll get annoyed and deny me!!!! But what's the right thing to do? call once a week? just sit and wait???? What did ya'll do??? Carrie

I called every other day!! In my opinion, things move faster when they know you're going to keep touching base with them!! Good Luck Chandra

well lets see when i sent mine in i called like twice a week i think before i got a answer.....I wanted to find out with out bugging them too much but enough to get my answer LOL Laura

You can call them everyday, I did, and sometimes twice a day. Who cares if they feel like you are bugging them, Isn't it your hard earning money that is paying them their salaries? Girlfriend call EVERYDAY. Mrs~Jackson
