Any support groups near Athens?

I am looking for a support group near Athens and I have not been able to find one. Any suggestions? Thanks, Alli D.

Alli, 2 groups that I know of but it would be a bit of a drive for you. One is in Snellville, just 2 or 3 miles off of Hwy. 78, that meets the 3rd Saturday morning of the month for about 3 hours I believe. It's an excellent and very involved group as they have large numbers. The other meets in Conyers at Rockdale Medical Center close to Hwy. 138/20. It meets the first Wednesday night of each month for an hour. I bet it would be worth your time and effort to attend the support group in Snellville at Eastside Hospital. I am not aware of any groups any further east as the majority of the bariatric doctors in our area are in Atlanta. Good luck! Karel
