Experience with Aetna

Hello everyone, I was just wondering has anyone been approved lately by Aetna. My status is still pending. I have heard or read horra stories on this website about Aetna. Please help. Shondra

Our company had Aetna when I started my wls journey. They told me I'd have to participate in a six month record of doctor, nutritionist, exercise program before they would consider the surgery. By the time my six months were up we'd changed insurance carriers. United Healthcare did not require the six months or anything else except being 100 lbs overweight. Good luck!
