Okay, guys I ordered a bunch of samples and I read the directions but how do YOU mix them? Since A lot of you have done this already and figured out whats best through trial and error, I thought maybe you guys could give me a few pointers

Monique~ First off, dont even try the samples yet. After surgery your taste WILL CHANGE and what you like now may taste like crap later. Trust me, I spent HUNDREDS of dollars on protein stuff that I threw out or gave away. Second, I mixed mine with water only. I got a shaker cup (they have them at Wal-Mart and Target) put the powder in, then cold water, then took out some of my frustration by shaking the hell out of it. Some folks blend in fruit or peanut butter, all kinds of stuff, but to me it made it taste worse. It really is trial and error to find one you will like and or keep down. Real Meals and the Nectar ones did the best for me. Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Best of luck to ya. Sidney

I tried "All The Whey" and it tastes good to me. I am only three days post op, but I did not want to pay $20 or so dollars for a tub of protein mix, All The Whey is advertised on the Obesity Website and costs about 10 bucks for a large #2 drum. I mix it with water, or low-carb, fat free non-dairy milk. I am also going to try it with a few pcs of frozen fruit like strawberries (no sugar added) All the Whey comes in Vanilla, Chocolate, Banana, Strawberry and Orange.
