Silastic ring

Does anyone else have the silastic ring on your pouch? Is is better or worse to have it. Thanks in advance

I think the ring may be good because it would probably prevent your pouch from stretching. I know you are probably having your surgery at Memorial Bariatrics due to the fact that they are using the ring. One good thing is the program at Memorial is very supportive so you can always get all the help you need locally. Please post and let everyone know when you get insurance approval and when you get a surgery date!
