Dr. Procter's patients...?

Can any of Dr. Procter's patients tell me anything about him and his practice? Would you recommend him? Would like to hear the good and the bad if any. I have not officially met Dr. Procter but I attended his informational seminar on Apr. 3.

He is awesome!! I had Lap RNY on 12-08-03 by Dr Procter and I could not have asked for a better WLS experience. I have had no complications and I have lost 72 lbs so far and my Lap scars are almost invisable. He is very personable and he CARES about his patients and their follow up.

DR. PROCTOR DID MY SURGERY ( LAP ) ON MARCH 31, 2004. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM ! I GAINED 11 POUNDS IN THE HOSPITAL !! I HAVE SINCE LOST THAT 11 POUNDS PLUS I HAVE LOST 19 POUNDS. I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON , IT IS WONDERFUL. I WAS TAKING 14 PILLS 2 TO 5 DIABETES SHOTS A DAY AND WEARING A BLOOD PRESSURE PATCH. NOW I TAKE " JUST 2 PILLS " A DAY. I FEEL SO GOOD NOW. BACK TO THE DOCTOR , HE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE. HE REALLY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS !! AND THE STAFF ON THE BARIATRIC WING OF THE HOSPITAL ARE GREAT !! I TOLD DR. Spice, I have not had surgery yet. But i did meet DR. Richardson today. And from everything I have heard about both doctors they are great. I realy felt comfortable with Dr. Richardson. He was nice and very courties. I had most all my test either done or scheduled today. It is happening really fast and I love it. I also went to the seminar on the 3rd. I have my psych eval on April 30 and my sleep study on April 27. It is so awsome. I met a couple of paitence in the office and they both seemed so happy. Thanks to all *****sponded. I felt like I made a good choice in picking a surgeon. My PCP said Dr. Procter performed some of her patients wls and they have had wonderful results. I can't wait to meet him and his staff. BTW Rebecca how long did it take for them to receive your application packet?

Spice, I dropped my packet off at the Biatric clinic at lanier park hospital and within 2 hours they called to set up an appointment for the next wensday. It was so fast. everything is going so fast. I love it. the same week the doctors office called and set up an appointment for the same day. I only like 2 more test and then they will send all info to the insurance company for approval. I am hoping i have surgery before Aug. I would like to have it in June. So i can start losing before the summer is over. I already have an appointment for the psych it is on April 30. My sleep study is on the 27th. I cant believe how fast every thing is going. So maybe june it will be. I would advise just to get it there as soon as possible. email me any time. Rebecca
