Anybody wanna help me guess what this is about?

Well, I was in a meeting at work this afternoon, and when I got out I had a message from April at Dr.Appel's office asking me to call her back. Of course there was no additional information as to whether it was a good call or a bad call.....BCBS of GA has had my paperwork since Friday. I called their customer service line and according to the operator they don't have record that I've been approved or denied....so the only other thing I can think of is that they might want additional information...if they end up requiring a 6 month weight lose program after they assured me they didn't, I will absolutely loose my mind. Anybody wanna take a stab at what kind of call this could have been? I doubt I'll sleep tonight worrying about it....I wish like hell that April would have given me some hint as to what this was for....she left the same non-descript message on my home phone. Kelle

Kelle, Hey! I ll say a prayer for you tonight! Im sure its all going to be ok! I know the BCBS a friend had wanted a 6 week diet but due to her other problems over rid it! So we ll see! Keep us posted! Its a long battle but well worth it! I just had my surgery on 3-15 and never thought it would come after my crazy ins comp! But it did and Im sure it will for you as well! Hey guys, sorry to keep you waiting! It took me till 2:30 to hear back from APril. She said BCBS needs my actual thyroid levels, not just the letter my PCP sent me saying the test came back normal; they need the medical clearance from my doctor (which I already faxed her and she had confirmed she'd received); and they need the psychiatrist to state unequivocally if she is recommending me for the surgery or not! Apparently the statement the psych sent to Dr. Appel was sort of unclear on whether she approves of me having the surgery or not. So, the good news is, no 6 month diet eval (so far at least), the bad news is I had to scramble trying to get all of this together. The psych office is going to "try" to have that re-write to April by Monday, and I'm hoping my PCP's office will have the thyroid results faxed off by tomorrow. I have the hard copy of PCP clearance letter so I can refax that with no problem tomorrow. When will I learn not to freak out so bad about every little mysterious message and phone call? I'm high strung anyway, but this approval process has about put me in the loony bin....as my roommate would say, "If they don't take me to Milledgeville today, I ain't going!" Thanks for hanging in here with me guys, and if anyone has a Valium or two on hand, slip them over! (Just kidding, sort of )
