HELP ANYONE WITH AETNA PPO

As anyone been approved lately with Aetna PPO?? I was wondering did you need a nutritional or dietician evaluation before insurance approval ? I went for my first visit with my surgeon and they added another requirement since March, which I attended a seminar and they gave all insurance requirements, so I was just wondering what's this all about. Sounds like another stumbling block. Please help. Thanks in advance Shondra

I had Aetna PPO. They told me I'd have to do a six month period of seeing a physician, nutritionist and be on a diet before they'd consider the surgery. By the time I'd finished my six months the company changed carriers so United Healthcare ended up paying for the surgery.
