Finally after a long process, I've been approved. It's been going on since last December!!! My surgery date is May 4 in Savannah, Ga at Memorial Health University. They have just started their first bariatic program on the southeast side of Georgia. Wish me luck.

Congrats to you. I just had surgery on march 29th in Atlanta. I live in Savannah, it's nice seeing someone closer to home having surgery as well.

Good for you!!! BCBS will probably start refusing coverage in 2005 so you are getting in at a good time. Who in SAV is doing the surgery? I haven't heard about that.
