Consult with Dr. Duncan

Actually Joe's comment is wrong. When I had my surgery , there were four women and one man. I had my surgery on March 29th. So dont worry about that. Good Luck!!!!

Huh, well I stand corrected I guess I assumed he only operated on one sex at the time because when a surgery is cancelled, they only replace them with a patient of the same sex i.e., if my surgery were canceled, a male would have to take my spot. You learn something every day Joe

Hey Chandra, After Dr. Duncan's Seminar I talked with the lady that scheduled surgeries and asked her that once I filled out the packet and came in for the consultation, how long would it be before I would have my surgery? She told me that it would probally be around July or even August. I explained to her that I was Dr. Robinsons patient and had already been approved by my insurance agency and been through all the pre-op so why did I have to wait so long. She politely told me that she was not going to put Dr. Robinsons patients ahead of Dr. Duncans, especially those who have been waiting for a surgery date. So, that is why I went to Emory since they are doing our surgeries immediately after the consultation date. I was shocked at the attitude of Dr. Duncan's secretary or what ever her title is but I can assure you that Emory has welcomed several of Dr. Robinson's patients with open arms and kind words. Thanks for the info Becky. You probaly talked to Joyce, the insurance coordinator. She can be a bit brash, but I guess she deals with us impatient patients everyday. I talked to Jackie and Jennifer B. at Dr. Duncan's office and they haven't even start scheduling for May yet. They schedule surgery after the insurance approval goes thru, whoever is approved first, gets surgery first. That's what Jennifer B. told me when I scheduled my appointment. I hope she was telling me the truth!!! Or I'm gonna be one mad girlie girl!!! But like you said, I will leave it in God's hands. He's gonna see me through. Smooches,

well i just had my surgery with Dr. Duncan two days ago ....and just to give you a time fram i had my onitional consulations with him jan 22 did all my doc appoiments in the next two weeks and was approved by my insurance by the middle of march and had a date for surgery i think like march 16 ...So the time flew for me and went alot faster than i thought it would...But you guys are right i think johnson did my surgery not duncan but i still say duncan did mine LOL LOL LOL ...But i went in tuesday morning was first on the list and then wed by noon i was walking out the door to go home.....and so far so good !!!!
