I have just gotten through reading on Dr. Robinson's site and there is a post there that says Dr. Robinson may be coming back to start doing surgeries again. Now I do not know how true this post is, but if you want to read it, just go to Dr. Robinsons name on the list of surgeons and click on his name. I do not think any of us still know what the reason was for him cancelling surgeries but if he is coming back I have a lot to pray about especially if his office calls us back up again. How would you feel if they called you and said he can do your surgery now? That sure is a big issue! Well, I am not sure what I would say or do but like I said, this is one that I would leave up to God to answer. Take care and God Bless You. Sincerely, Becky Stanford

Hi Becky, I posted that message. I talked to Rose and she said that they would continue with the support group meetings, so I asked if he was going to start performing the surgery again and she said she couldn't give me a definite answer, but maybe. I loved Dr. Robinson, but I have an appointment with Dr. Duncan, so I think I'll go ahead and use him. He has an excellent mortality rate and he does the lap rny. Smooches Chandra

Hey Chandra, I see you are up early also. I have been up and down all night with my legs hurting. You know, I did not even realize who posted that message, just that Dr. Robinson might be performing surgery again. So when do you see Dr. Duncan? Joyce told me that I would not be able to get surgery with Dr. Duncon until June or July. That was not what they told me on the phone and when I reminded her that I was ready for surgery she said that they could not put Dr. Robinsons patients before theirs that has been waiting. My problem is my husband's job may be changing insurance by June and if they do, the new one may not pay or I would have to start all over again. It just seems to get worse for me but I keep trying to be positive even though every day brings me closer to having to go into a wheel chair. I go to Emory this Thursday evening and I am really hoping that they will come through. I really liked Dr. Robinson too, and all this has shocked me so much that I still feel like it is a dream. But, I know to Tammy and her family it is not a dream. Well I am going to fix me some coffee so I hope you have a great morning and let me know how it goes for you with Dr. Duncan. Take care and God Bless You. Hugs, Becky Stanford

Hmmm, that's funny. They told me that they are still scheduling for April. Jennifer B. said that most of their patients have their surgery around 3 weeks after approval. I figured since we are already approved, it would be around May for our surgery. But I guess that could change. It seems to me though that we should be able to go ahead of people who aren't approved yet. Hmm, I dunno. I'll see you at Emory on Thursday. Take Care! Chandra

Well I wish the best to you two. I hope the best and you find peace with your surgeon. I am happy to be at emory. I am sooo confident in Smith and no worries. He is one of the popular surgeons sooo his weight is the longest. Khatian at emory I hear and ramshaw are great also. Good luck to you both.
