muscle spasms with your weight loss?

There are no silly questions but I have one...updated my profile and posted on the nation wide board this problem. Back spasams are severe...waiting on doc...muscle relaxer not helping...Has anyone had this problem as they began to loose weight? Is my body responding to a "shift"? Only 7 weeks out and 38 lbs. lost ...but...what is going on? Hampering my exercise ability.

I'm not a doctor but I would say it is because of the surgery your not getting all of the vitamins you use to get I get leg cramps every now and again. I'm 5 monts post-op down from a 22 to a 12!
